Summer is here and for most that means it’s time to travel  ✈️   As fun as it is, it can also disrupt your routine, making it challenging to maintain healthy habits. Below are a few simple tips that are easy to incorporate into your day that will help you stay healthy while on the go.



1. Stay Hydrated

One of the simplest yet most overlooked aspects of staying healthy during travel is hydration. Air travel, especially, can dehydrate you due to the low humidity levels in the cabin.

Tips:

- Always carry a refillable water bottle.

- Aim to drink at least 8 ounces of water per hour while flying.

- Limit alcohol and caffeine, as they can contribute to dehydration.


2. Prioritize Sleep

Traveling across time zones can wreak havoc on your sleep schedule and cause Jet lag which disrupt the body's internal clock.

Tips:

- Try to adapt to the new time zone before you arrive by gradually shifting your sleep

schedule.

- Bring sleep aids like earplugs, an eye mask, or a white noise app to help you sleep in

unfamiliar environments.

-Consider using melatonin or magnesium supplements.


3. Eat Balanced Meals

It's easy to indulge in unhealthy foods while traveling, but maintaining a balanced diet is key to stay consistent with all the work you put in all year long. Finding a balance and incorporating tips below can help you stay on track while still enjoying your holiday.
